Barbara Jackson

SACATON — Barbara J. Jackson, 80, died on May 7, 2010, at home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 3 Service Center. The funeral will be at 6 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Sacaton, with the Rev. Richard Blackwater officiating. Burial will be in Sacaton East Cemetery.
Ms. Jackson was born on April 7, 1930, in Sacaton and was a daughter of Agnes and Samuel W. Pratt Sr. She was a teaching assistant in Sacaton for many years. After retiring she provided child care for many families. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir.
Survivors include five daughters, Eileen Kyyitan, Edena Jackson, Anna Gonzales, Celia Ramos and Marla J. Pico, all of Sacaton; two sons, Perry and Charlton Jackson of Sacaton; two brothers, Victor and Eric Pratt Sr. of Sacaton; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Samuel Pratt Jr., and a sister, Lorena Enos.
