Peggy Mae Morago

Peggy Mae Morago, 76, of Sacaton died January 29, 2023, at home. She was born September 13, 1946, in Sacaton to William K. Morago and Ruth G. Jackson. Peggy was a dedicated teacher for over 30 years and devoted her life to not only her family but to her students as well. She enjoyed taking trips with her sister. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her son was her best friend. She would always tell him, “It’s us against the world”.

She is survived by her only son, Joseph C. Morago, her siblings, Burdette B. Morago, Ruth Cox, Terry Morago and Pamela Pratt, 1 grandchild and 2 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and two siblings, Viola Johnson and Merle Morago.

A memorial service will be held at J. Warren Funerals Services, the Gardens, on Friday, February 3rd at 10am.
