Thomas Wiener

Thomas George Wiener, 70, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 6, 2015, at Hospice of the Valley Friendship Village in Tempe.

Mr. Wiener was born on Aug. 3, 1945, in Melrose, Minnesota, and was a son of George Wiener and Loretta Wessel. He was a Navy Seabee and served two tours of duty in the Vietnam War. He later owned a construction cleaning business, Specialty Services Inc. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He restored antique John Deere tractors and was always tinkering with different projects.

Survivors include his wife, Eileen M.; a daughter, Emily A. Rickaby of Savage, Minnesota; a son, Thomas D. Wiener of Robbinsdale, Minnesota; four sisters, Jen Gravlin of Michigan, Sharon Peterson and Diane Schubbe of Minnesota and Barbara Keats of Phoenix; and a brother, Robert Wiener of Minnesota. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Eileen Torborg, Marian Fahey and Rosanne Rapp.
