CASA GRANDE - Adelina O. Ramos, 84, of Casa Grande died on May 6, 2016, at home, with her family by her side.
Mrs. Ramos was born on May 18, 1931, in Tucson to Ramon and Margarita Ochoa. She liked to look outside the window and look at birds, flowers and grandkids running around. She had a big collection of elephant items. She loved sweets and listening to Mexican and Christian music. She adored her favorite dog, Chiquita. The family queen, she was very loving and feisty and made great beans.
Survivors include five daughters and a son, Rachel Barreras and Irene Coffman of Casa Grande, Maria Sanchez of Arizona City, Larry Ramos of Casa Grande; Gloria Alejandro of San Tan Valley and Olivia Sanchez of Mendota, California; six sisters and brothers, Amelia Florez of Casa Grande, Trina Flores of Queen Creek, Terry Garza of Casa Grande, Chico Ochoa of Paradise Valley, Connie Brunson of Casa Grande and Abraham Ochoa of Chandler; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Ramos Sr.; a son, Alfonso "Pelon" Ramos Jr.; a brother, Ramon Ochoa Jr.; a sister, Mercy Tellez; and three great-grandchildren, Jacob Ramos, Eddie Flores Jr. and Michael Hernandez.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. Rosary and scripture service will follow at 11. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
