BLACKWATER - Agnes (Scoffer) Williams, 92, of Blackwater died on Nov. 14, 2018, at home, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Williams was born on April 28, 1926, in Blackwater and was a daughter of Horace and Pauline Manuel Scoffer. She loved to cook, garden, sew, travel and eat ice cream. She was a very loving person who loved to spend time with her family, whom she adored.
She was a homemaker and volunteered to help at church and with elderly meals and cleaning at their homes.
Survivors include seven daughters, Charlene James, Francis Harris, Annette Valencia, Linda Williams, Angie Rodriguez, Delma Salazar and Susan Valencia; four sons, Denny, Sherwin, Alvin and Keith Williams; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy G. Williams Sr.; two sons, James Jackson and Roy G. Williams Jr.; and two daughters, Marcella Leonard and Lynette Williams.
Wake beginning at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the District 1 Multipurpose Building. Funeral Mass celebrated at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, at St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Sacaton. Burial in Blackwater West Cemetery.
