Aina Smith

Aina Leith Smith, 67, died on Dec. 31, 2010, in San Tan Valley.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. today at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel. The funeral will follow at 10.
Mrs. Smith was born on Feb. 6, 1943, in Oak Park, Ill. She was a homemaker and was a loving person who enjoyed taking care of people. She enjoyed writing and her biggest fans were her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, James “Jim”; two sons, David Smith of Sturgis, S.D., and Peter Smith of Alliance, Neb.; two daughters, Vicki Kampmeier of San Tan Valley and Heather Harris of New Paris, Ind.; her mother, Aileen Leith of San Tan Valley; a brother, Peter Leith of Bloomingdale, Ill.; three sisters, Lynn Tortorello of Woodstock, Ill., Margaret Krumwiede of Chandler and Wendy Langusch of Rockford, Ill.; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Sidney Leith.
