COOLIDGE - Albert "Buckwheat" Delsi, 55, of Coolidge died on Nov. 13, 2013, at Hospice Family Care in Casa Grande.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 11. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 by the Rev. Adolfo Martinez. Burial will be in Florence Cemetery.
Mr. Delsi was born on Oct. 24, 1958, in Florence. He was an auto mechanic and enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time in and riding in the desert, having cookouts with his family and listening to country and Mexican music. His favorite shows were "CSI" and "Law and Order," and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and traveling. He loved his family and life, and his greatest joy was in his son and granddaughter.
Survivors include his mother, Virginia Delsi of Coolidge; a son, Kaleb Delsi of Arizona City; three sisters, Rozalia, Olga and Grace Delsi, all of Coolidge; and a granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father, Alberto J. Delsi, and a sister, Rozalva New.
