ELOY - Albert Lee Jackson, 69, died on Sept. 12, 2018.

Mr. Jackson was born to Willie and Opal Jackson on March 18, 1949, in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from Santa Cruz Valley Union High School, where he played football and was known as "Golden Toe," setting a school record for longest field goal that still stands.

He worked at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center for many years before retiring. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting and cooking and volunteered for a Pinal County sheriff's posse.

Survivors include his mother; a daughter, Jannine Jackson of California; three siblings, Herman Jackson of Los Angeles, Jerry Jackson of Victorville, California, and Alicia Ann Jackson of Eloy; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Tony and Thanett Jackson; and a sister, Connie Jackson.

Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, at First Baptist Church in Eloy, with funeral at 11.
