Albert Lee Smith

ELOY - Albert Lee Smith Sr., 71, of Eloy died on Nov. 8, 2018.

Mr. Smith was born on Nov. 30, 1946, in Eloy, a son of the Rev. Votie and Irene Smith, and lived in the community all his life. He attended Westside Church of God in Christ and New Destiny Church.

Survivors include his wife, Julia; a daughter, Louisa Wallis of National City, California; six sons, Jose Bennett of Mesa, Bishop Vince Smith of Coolidge, James Smith of Eloy, Paul Valenzuela of Casa Grande, Malcolm Smith of National City and Nathaniel Smith of Arizona City; and four sisters, Doris, Erma and Lula B. Smith of Eloy and Oletha Cannon of Arizona City. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Nathan and Votie Smith, and a sister, Joyce Robinson.

Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. and funeral at 11 on Thursday, Nov. 15, at Westside Church of God in Christ, 501 W. First St. Burial in Eloy Memorial Park.
