NORTH KOMELIK VILLAGE — Albert Mathias Orosco, 55, died Sept. 26, 2009.
The wake will begin at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Ignatius Catholic Mission. The graveside service will be at sunrise Saturday in North Komelik Cemetery, with the Rev. Ignatius DeGroot officiating.
Mr. Orosco was born Dec. 6, 1953 in Desert Rose, Ariz. He was a security guard at the Cyprus mine. He loved to listen to music, dance and play baseball.
Survivors include two daughters, Janelle Orosco of Sells and Alberta Orosco of North Komelik; a stepdaughter, Nalani Puella of Topawa; a son, Nolan Orosco of Little Tucson; a stepson, Michael Parvello of North Komelik; two sisters, Pauline Fayer of Arlington and Cynthia Sandoval of Ajo; four brothers, Leslie Jones Jr., Franklin and Eldon R. Jones, all of Ajo, and Gerald Jones of Arizona City; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his companion, Rosella Parvello; a son, Alan Orosco; his parents, Jose Orosco, Josephine Thomas, Evelyn and Leslie Jones; and a sister, Eileen Jones.
