Alberta Lewis

CASA BLANCA - Alberta Lewis, 68, of Casa Blanca died on March 13, 2020.

Ms. Lewis was born on Sept. 10, 1951, in Sacaton to Alfred and Virginia Lewis. Often known as "Grandma Ladybug," she loved to crochet, sing and dance to oldies and doo-wop music.

She was on the District 5 elderly chair volleyball team. She enjoyed baking and was known for her monkey bread. She loved to spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by five sons and daughters, Franklin Jackson Jr., Cynthia R. Jackson-Smallcanyon, Robert M. Lewis, Jeremy P. Lewis and Jessica M. Lewis; five siblings, James Lewis, Richard Lewis, Frances Lewis Jenkins, Christine B. Lewis and Alvin D. Lewis; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Reynold Lewis, Jerome Lewis and Marjorie Mills; and a grandchild, Gabriel R. Lewis.

Graveside service at 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, in Sacate Cemetery.
