Alejandro "Alex" Alba Valles

Alejandro "Alex" Alba Valles, 85, of Casa Grande died on Aug. 30, 2015, in Kirkland, Arizona.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 by the Rev. Ariel Lustan. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Valles was born on Aug. 26, 1930, in Mexico City and was a son of Bernando and Manuela Valles. He owned Martin & Alex Tire Repair in Eloy and also worked for Arizona Feeds for 20 years.

He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved raising animals, joking and laughing with his friends, working on cars and houses, welding and building things.

Survivors include a daughter, Violet Valles Ybarra of Kirkland; a brother, Francisco Valles of Mexico City; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Estella; two brothers, Ricardo Valles and Lupe Alba; and a sister, Theresa Valles.
