Alejandro Marin Iii

BLACKWATER - Alejandro Marin III, 49, of Blackwater died on Aug. 8, 2013, in Sacaton.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to midnight Thursday at his home. The graveside service will be at 7 a.m. Friday in Blackwater West Cemetery, with the Rev. Aaron Johns officiating.
Mr. Marin, sometimes called Baby Alex, was born on July 12, 1964, in Sacaton. He had a great sense of humor and was loud, always joking and laughing. He enjoyed people and was involved in his community. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
When he was younger he was a Boy Scout and went whitewater rafting. He liked to work on cars and enjoyed playing on the computer, watching movies, listening to music and traveling. He was a big sports fan and loved life, living it to the fullest.
Survivors include his adoptive father, Harry A. Cruye of Blackwater; a brother, Mario Marin of Blackwater; and four sisters, Claudia Trop of Long Island, N.Y., Janie Rodriguez of Casa Grande, Shirley Miller of Blackwater and Dora Magdalena of Victoria, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fern and Alejandro Marin Jr.; his adoptive mother, Mary Ann Cruye; three brothers, Anthony, Franklin and Benjamin Cruye; and a sister, Judy Thomas.
