Aleta Ruth Marrufo, 79, of Sacaton, passed away on May 16, 2024, She was born in Sacaton on January 9, 1945, to Felix and Gladys Manuel.
Aleta, affectionately known as "Sweets" by her family and friends, was a compassionate individual who was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in. Throughout the majority of her life, she dedicated herself to the role of a homemaker. A talented musician, she found joy in playing the bass guitar. Aleta shared 38 beautiful years with her beloved husband Manuel Marrufo until his passing in 2012. In her leisure time, she delighted in visiting casinos where luck seemed to always be on her side. Additionally, she found solace and joy in activities such as painting, coloring, and various arts & crafts.
She is survived by her son Monti Marrufo, her siblings Don Manuel and Stella Ochoa, as well as seven cherished grandchildren.
Aleta is preceded in death by her husband, her son Steve Marrufo, a grandson, and a granddaughter.
