Alex Castro, 54, of Casa Grande died on May 24, 2010, after a hard battle with lung cancer.
The celebration of life will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Victory Chapel, 109 E. 11th St.
Mr. Castro was born on Dec. 9, 1955. He worked at CG Commodities Processing Inc. for 20 years and loved his job. He was a devoted St. Louis Rams fan. He was known for his sense of humor and trademark jokes and enjoyed golf, horseshoes and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a Christian and had accepted Jesus as his personal savior. He was known as a jack of all trades.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Debbie; two sons, Jason Armstrong and Alex Castro Jr.; three daughters, Nicole Espinoza, Yvette Castro and Vanessa Zazueta; his mother, Socorro Alcantar; three brothers, Frankie, Samuel and Arnold Castro; two sisters, Eloise Gastelum and Barbara Melecio, all of Casa Grande; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Agapito Castro, and two brothers, Tony and Bobby Castro.
