Alfred M Garza

Alfred M. Garza, age 66, of Chandler, Arizona, passed away on August 7, 2024. Born on August 3, 1958, to Helen Mendoza, Alfred was known for his enthusiasm for sports, particularly basketball. An avid reader, he cherished knowledge and was always eager to learn.

Alfred was a beacon of positivity, often providing valuable advice and offering support to those around him. His uplifting spirit, straightforward nature, and down-to-earth approach to life endeared him to many. Alfred's legacy of kindness and wisdom will be remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his three children: Alfreda Arvizu, Armeda Graham, and Alfredo Wickie; his brothers, Joe Garza, Mike Garza, and Manuel Gonzalez; as well as 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Mendoza, and his sister, Lydia Gonzalez.

A wake will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 2 PM at Saint Anne's Catholic Mission in Santan. A mass will be celebrated the following morning at Saint Anne's, beginning at 6 AM, with burial to follow at Saint Anne's Catholic Cemetery.
