Alicia Rivera-Gonzalez

Alicia Rivera-Gonzalez, 22, of Eloy died March 15, 2008 at home.


Funeral Mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church, with visitation beginning at 4 p.m. at the family home. Burial will be in Deming, N.M.

Ms. Rivera-Gonzalez was born Aug. 4, 1985 in Florence. She loved working with children and took training for child care. She enjoyed life, especially with her son.

Survivors include a son, Pedro N. Rivera-Perez of Eloy; her mother and stepfather, Alicia and Ysidro R. Sandoval of Eloy; her father, Gonzalo Rivera of Mexico; a brother, Ysidro G. Sandoval of Eloy; a sister, Maria Chavez of Eloy; and grandparents, Manuel B. and Guadalupe S. Gonzalez of Deming.
