Allen Teghtmeyer

FLORENCE — Allen Jacob Teghtmeyer, 63, of Florence died on July 8, 2012, at Southern Arizona VA Health Care Center in Tucson.
The celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel.
Mr. Teghtmeyer was born on Nov. 30, 1948, in Warsaw, Ind., and was a son of Clarence and Juanita Teghtmeyer. He served in the Marine Corps and was a state corrections officer for 25 years. He was devoted to his family, a loyal friend, a hard worker and his daughter's hero.
Survivors include a daughter, Tysha Henry of Florence; a son, Jacob Teghtmeyer of Florence; a brother, Blackie Hazzenzella of Florence; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Krathwohl.
