Aloida Joaquin

CASA BLANCA - Aloida Joaquin Jr., 67, of Casa Blanca died April 11, 2007 at Chandler Regional Hospital.


The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Arlene Joaquin home, Casa Blanca and Snakehill roads. The funeral there will be at 7 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in West Casa Blanca (Cowboy) Cemetery.

Mr. Joaquin was born Feb. 12, 1940 in Casa Blanca and was a son of Julia (Victorian) and Aloida Joaquin Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene; a daughter, Sophia Joaquin of Sacate; five stepchildren, Ernestine Paul, Bonita Reed, Jennifer Brown, Felita Osife and Ronald Burke; two brothers, Sylvester Joaquin of Casa Blanca and Richard Joaquin Sr. of Ak-Chin; five sisters, Mary Joaquin, Gloria (Joaquin) Hoover, Esther (Joaquin) Hoover of Casa Blanca, Rita (Joaquin) Howard of Santan and Elisha (Joaquin) Anton of Salt River; 14 grandchildren; and nine stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Juanita (Joaquin) Howard, and three brothers, Robert, Theodore and Norbert Joaquin.
