SACATON — Alvin G. Frederick, 68, of Sacaton died on Sept. 17, 2010, in Mesa.
Visitation will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 3 Service Center. The funeral will be at 6 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Sacaton, with Byron Jackson officiating. Burial will be in East Sacaton Cemetery.
Mr. Frederick was born on July 10, 1942, in Sacaton and was a son of Matthew Kisto Sr. and Katherine Jackson. He was a diamond cutter. He enjoyed sitting outside visiting with family and friends.
Survivors include a daughter, Judith Frederick of Phoenix; two sisters, Kathy Isk and Laverne Blackwater of Sacaton; two brothers, Roland Mackett of Sacaton and Matthew Kisto Jr. of Salt River; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Rivers, and two brothers, Larry Mackett and Elwood Kisto.
