Alvin Harper

Alvin A. Harper, 50, of Casa Grande died May 31, 2009 at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix.


Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel.

Mr. Harper was born in Oroville, Calif. He worked as an auto mechanic. He was a hunter and enjoyed wide open spaces. He liked to joke with his nieces and nephews and loved his family and his cat, Goner.

Survivors include three sisters, Wanda Hamilton of Casa Grande, Vickie Bise of Las Vegas and Sandra Kelly of Gila Bend; nine nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and -nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Jo Ella Harper.
