Amanda Renae Sam-Peters

AK-CHIN - Amanda Renae Sam-Peters, 43, died on Aug. 18, 2013, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the Francisco and Armida Mattia home in Ak-Chin, with rosary recited at 6. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Mission. Burial will be in Ak-Chin Cemetery.
Ms. Sam-Peters was born on July 13, 1970, in Phoenix. She was a homemaker and loved her family, including her brothers, being with them, cooking, playing games with her kids and listening to reggae music.
Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Eugene Peters Sr.; two daughters, Aleah Sam and Sabrina Peters of Ak-Chin; two sons, Steven Sam and Stewart Peters of Ak-Chin; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Peters of Ak-Chin; two stepsons, Terrance and Eugene Peters Jr. of Ak-Chin; her mother and stepfather, Armida and Francisco Mattia of Ak-Chin; two brothers, Franklin and Dwayne Sam of Ak-Chin; two stepbrothers, Tony Mattia of Mesa and Leonard Mattia of Gila Bend; and four stepsisters, Martha Watson of Arizona City, Janis Solis of Mesa, Cynthia White of Stanfield and Anna Jo Mattia of Casa Grande. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Sam, and a brother, Clifford Pablo.
