Andrea Evelyn Pedro

SACATON - Andrea Evelyn Pedro, 43, of Sacaton died on Dec. 8, 2016, at Mercy Gilbert Hospital.

Ms. Pedro, sometimes called "Bird," was born on Dec. 2, 1973, in Sacaton to Richard and Arlene Pedro. She was always helping people in whatever way she could. She was devoted to her family and often could be found cooking.

Survivors include two daughters, Shalyn Johns and Evelyn Pedro; a son, Kevin Johns Jr.; two brothers, Richard Pedro Jr. and Theron Pedro; two sisters, Victoria Pedro and Susan Ramirez; and her mother. She was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Pedro Sr., and her father.

Visitation from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at the District 3 Service Center, with a traditional Native American church service following at the Pedro home. Graveside service at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, in Vah-Ki Cemetery.
