CASA BLANCA - Andrea Stewart, 37, died on Aug. 2, 2013, at Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Sacaton.
The wake and rosary will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the Stewart home. The funeral will be at 6 a.m. Saturday at Vah-Ki Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Sharon Selestewa officiating. Burial will be in Vah-Ki Cemetery.
Ms. Stewart was born on July 14, 1976, in Sacaton. She was a cook for the Gila River Indian Community and enjoyed listening to music, dancing and hanging out with friends. She loved her pets, being around her family and being with her boyfriend. She also liked cook-outs and drawing.
Survivors include her parents, Donna and Norbert Stewart Sr. of Casa Blanca; her boyfriend, Angel Medina of Chandler; two brothers, Boudie and Manny Stewart of Casa Blanca; and two sisters, Kristie and Randi Stewart of Casa Blanca. She was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Stewart.
