VAMORI VILLAGE - Angela Megan Innis, 37, of Phoenix died on Nov. 27, 2018, at Banner-University Medical Center Phoenix.
Ms. Innis was born on Nov. 24, 1981, in Ada, Oklahoma, and was a daughter of Julius C. Innis and Loretta M. Ponkilla. She loved her family and took care of her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, writing in her journal and doing calligraphy.
She was talented, and her hobby was tattooing. She liked watching sports, especially the Cardinals, Sun Devils and Diamondbacks.
Survivors include her father, of Phoenix; her mother, of Hardin, Montana; three sisters, Kimberly, Meranda and Amber Innis, all of Phoenix; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Naomi C. Innis, and an infant daughter.
Wake beginning at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, at Vamori Community Center on the Tohono O’odham Nation. Burial at sunrise on Sunday, Dec. 9, in Vamori Cemetery.
