CASA BLANCA - Ann Regina Vavages, 56, of Casa Blanca died on March 16, 2016, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Vavages was born on Dec. 5, 1959, in Sacaton. She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking and cooking, playing board games, being with her nieces and nephews, travel, especially to New Mexico, and making new friends. She was a very loving person who was always making jokes and enjoyed hanging out with family and friends.
Survivors include two sisters, Angela L. Williams and Tomasa Vavages of Casa Blanca, and two brothers, Alvin Vavages of Casa Blanca and Delmar Allison of Blackwater. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Vavages and Georgianna Parsons-Allison, and two sisters, Noreen Johnson and Linda Juan.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday at the Holguin home in Stotonic. The memorial service will be at 7 a.m. Friday at Lower Santan Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Aaron Johns officiating. Burial will be in Lower Santan Cemetery.
