Anna Louise Johnston

COOLIDGE - Anna Louise Johnston, 82, of Casa Grande died on Dec. 17, 2015, at Hospice of the Valley Lund Home in Gilbert.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. today at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel. The funeral will follow at 10:30, with Pastor Curtis Adams officiating. Burial will be in Florence Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnston was born on Sept. 22, 1933, in Trone, Virginia, and was a daughter of Elmer and Nellie Evans. She lived in West Virginia for most of her childhood. Upon her marriage in 1950, she moved to Pennsylvania and then to Arizona in 1969. She was a nursing assistant.

She enjoyed reading, needlework and macrame. She attended Coolidge Church of the Nazarene and was very involved in the church, especially with the women’s Bible study and senior activities. She loved her grandchildren and really loved the Lord.

Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Durkin of Lakeview, Oregon; a son, Timothy Johnston of Coolidge; a sister, Madeline Stotler; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M.
