SACATON - Annette Faith Tsosie, 56, of Sacaton died on May 2, 2017, in Gilbert.
Mrs. Tsosie was born on March 19, 1961, in Cleveland to Charles and Arlene Anton. She was known for her kind heart and faith in God. She worked at the Gila River District 4 Service Center for more than 10 years, impacting many lives. She was the type of woman to help a complete stranger. Those in need of food, clothes and comfort confided in her.
She was very involved in her community, not only at the service center but with the Voter Registration Board and community meetings. She had a great outlook on life and was passionate about all that she did. She enjoyed attending events, spending time with family, shopping, cooking and reading. She was very outgoing.
She is survived by her husband of more than 10 years, Anderson; four children, Naomi Blaine, Lambert Yazzie, Kandie Anton and Suzette Tsosie; two brothers, Antonelli and Arturo Anton; three sisters, Sharon Miguel, Andrea Gazula and Linda Martin; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jarrod Johnson; and two sisters, Karen Miguel and Gloria Anton.
Wake service beginning at 6 p.m. Monday, May 8, at the District 4 Service Center in Santan. Funeral Mass celebrated at 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, at St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Sacaton. Interment in Lower Santan Cemetery.
