Antonia Hernandez

CASA GRANDE - Antonia Madril Hernandez, 74, of Casa Grande died on April 19, 2018.

Mrs. Hernandez was born on Sept. 8, 1943, in Tempe to Jesus and Inez Madril. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Arizona. A member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, she liked attending church and praying to the Lord. She was a devoted Catholic and enjoyed reading her Bible.

She loved seeing all her family and enjoyed doing ceramics as well as custom jewelry. She was devoted to her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Marcelo; six adult children, George Contreras of Guadalupe, Eddie and Mario Contreras of Mesa, Jerry Contreras of Casa Grande, Martina and John Hernandez of Casa Grande; a stepsister, Armida Madril of Tucson; 13 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.

Visitation beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 27, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass celebrated at 10:30 by the Rev. Ariel Lustan. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
