Antonio R. Haro, 94, of Casa Grande, a longtime farmer, died on Sept. 20, 2012, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nogales, Ariz., by the Rev. Martin Martinez. Burial will be in Nogales.
Mr. Haro was born on Dec. 27, 1917, in Nogales, Ariz., and was a son of Antonio and Luz Rivera Haro. He farmed in Mexico and Arizona for 60 years and was a hard worker. He enjoyed fast cars.
Survivors include three daughters, Maria Del Carmen Astrain of Mexico, Martha Franklin Scott and Lupita H. Morales of Nogales, Ariz.; three sons, Jorge M., Antonio M. and Jesus E. Haro, all of Casa Grande; a brother, Rafael Haro of Mexico; 20 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emilia; a son, Francisco A. Haro; and two brothers, Augistin and Jose Haro.
