Armando Leija Sanchez

Armando Leija Sanchez, 67, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 18, 2014, at home.

The celebration of life will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel.

Mr. Sanchez was born on Sept. 21, 1947, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a son of Gilberto Sanchez and Julia Leija and stepson of Nellie Sanchez. He was a landscaper and was raised Baptist. He enjoyed watching football, especially his beloved Dallas Cowboys, and playing horseshoes. He loved spending time with his family and had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include five brothers, his twin, Gilbert Sanchez of Casa Grande, Robert L., Robert V. and Kino Sanchez and Roy Vargas, all of California, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lydia Sanchez.
