BAPCHULE — Arnold Gilbert Jackson, 80, died Sept. 5, 2009 in Bapchule.
Rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Friday at the Allen home in Casa Blanca. The wake will follow after 6 p.m. at Vah-Ki Presbyterian Church arbor. The funeral at the church will be at 6 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Aaron Johns officiating. Burial will be in Vah-Ki Cemetery.
Mr. Jackson was born Dec. 17, 1928 in Randolph and was a son of James and Josephine Jackson. He served in the Army and was an irrigator. He enjoyed going on cattle roundups and gardening. He also enjoyed Mexican music, old-time fiddling and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was baptized Catholic.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Bernadette Zepeda of Tucson; a sister, Emmaline Allen of Casa Blanca; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Havier Jackson; three brothers, Clyde, Raymond and Clifton Jackson; and three sisters, Erma Stewart, Nadine Antone and Georgianna Thompson.
