Arthur Lee White

ELOY - Arthur Lee White Jr., 57, of Eloy died at home on Jan. 14, 2016.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Fountains of Living Water Church in Casa Grande. The funeral will follow at 11, with Pastor Leon Hines officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. White was born on Nov. 4, 1958, in Casa Grande. He was very athletic growing up and participated in various sports. He was a heavy-equipment operator and retired from the city of Eloy after 30 years.

He enjoyed football, fishing and barbecues with family and friends and would create an event just to barbecue and cook. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his "granddog," Diva.

Survivors include his high school sweetheart and wife of 35 years, Mabelean; two daughters, Shontay Williams-Thomas of Phoenix and Candice L. White of Eloy; his father and stepmother, Toni and Arthur White Sr. of Casa Grande; a brother, Larry White of Eloy; three sisters, Sherri White of Eloy, Delory Hand of Chandler and Clara White of Phoenix; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delno White, and two sisters, Maxine White and Charleane Toney.
