Arthur Vega Mejia

CASA GRANDE - Arthur Vega Mejia, 53, of Casa Grande died quietly on Dec. 27, 2015, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after a long-term illness.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 11. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 by the Rev. Ariel Lustan. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Mejia was born on April 13, 1962, at Williams Air Force Base near Chandler. He worked as a security guard and loved music, dancing, having barbecues and visiting with his family. He also enjoyed animals.

Survivors include his parents, Johnny and Mary Alice Mejia of Casa Grande; a son, Keith L. Hubbard Mejia of Michigan; six brothers, Alex, Johnny Jr., Danny, Andy, Stephen P. and Jimmy, all of Casa Grande; and a grandchild. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Juan and Dolores Mejia and Pablo M. and Petra R. Vega.
