Aurelia C. Vasquez

ELOY - Aurelia C. Vasquez, 92, of Eloy died on Nov. 8, 2015, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Casa Grande.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande. Rosary and scripture service will follow at 10. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Vasquez was born on Sept. 6, 1923, in Oracle and was a daughter of Francisco Duran and Juanita Colores. She was a caregiver and was a warm, loving and caring person who was always there for her boys and any friend or relative in times of trouble. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Church.

She collected knickknacks and loved cooking for the holidays and for anyone who came to her home. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, visiting and talking for hours. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include three sons, Francisco and Aristeo Vasquez Jr. of Eloy and Henry Vasquez of Casa Grande; a sister, Lupe Navares of Casa Grande; 14 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aristeo Sr.; a son, Joe M. Vasquez; two brothers, Manuel and Raymond Duran; and a sister, Virginia Duran.
