Aurelia Martinez, aged 64, extended her beautiful wings peacefully on July 7, 2024, at home in Eloy, Arizona, surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 25, 1959, in Morelos, Zacatecas, Mexico, Aurelia lived a life marked by her joyful spirit and ambitious nature, to establishing a new life in her teenage years in Eloy, Arizona alongside mother, stepfather and siblings.
Aurelia was known for her vibrant and caring personality, lighting up any room she stepped into. She was perpetually happy, outgoing, and full of life, always ready to embark on a new adventure or lend a helping hand. Her ambitions were not just for herself but also for the betterment of everyone around her. She was compassionate, wholesome, and exceptionally welcoming, often described as big-hearted by those who knew her well.
Family was central to Aurelia's life. She is survived by her brothers, Luis and Juan Martinez; Phoenix, Arizona; sisters Maria J Avila; Eloy, Arizona, Olga Hernandez; Phoenix, Arizona, and Dolores Cruz; Eloy, Arizona. Her legacy continues through her children, Jose L. Martinez; Tucson, Arizona, Jose G. Garcia Jr.; Arizona City, Juan Q. Ruiz; Casa Grande, Arizona, and daughters Aurelia Martinez and Luz T. Suarez; Toltec, Arizona, 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Aurelia was preceded in death by her sister, Estela Fernandez, nephew, Antonio Gutierrez, her mother, Luz M Dominguez and stepfather Aniceto Dominguez.
Aurelia had a passion for lively experiences, evident in her love for casinos, crossword scratchers, and traveling. She relished every opportunity to visit places like Las Vegas, Laughlin, and Puerto Peñasco. Road trips anywhere away from home were a must, providing her with joy and a sense of freedom.
Aurelia's warmth and generosity touched many lives, and her absence will be deeply felt by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her memory will live on as a beacon of the love and care she so freely extended to others until her last of memory.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, with a Visitation at 5:00 PM at Valley Chapel on Friday, July 19 a rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM and Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church with the burial immediately Following at Eloy Memorial Park.
