CASA GRANDE - Aurelia Yazzie, 41, of Casa Grande died on April 4, 2016, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.
Mrs. Yazzie was born on Dec. 25, 1974, in Fort Defiance. She was a homemaker and a Cardinals, Diamondbacks and Suns fan. She enjoyed going to concerts, scrapbooking, listening to music, going to movies, baking cookies and having girl talk. She liked to travel to the beach and to cheer for her sister MaLorie at her running events.
She was an avid member of MPS Society and loved her family, always helping them. She loved to spend time with her nephews and nieces and have cook-outs and family time. She was very involved in her Navajo culture.
Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Ronnie; a son, Ryan Yazzie of Casa Grande; two brothers, Regison and Matthew Charley of Phoenix; and two sisters, MaLorie Charley of Phoenix and Cheryl Kenny of Eloy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Regis and Laura Charley, and a brother, Merle Kenny.
Visitation will begin at 7 a.m. Saturday at the Christian Church of Casa Grande. The funeral will follow at 8, with Pastor David Eleiott officiating. Burial will be Saturday at the Charley family cemetery in Lupton.
