Austin Manuel

BLACKWATER — Austin Manuel, 81, of Prescott Valley died on Jan. 6, 2012, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
The graveside service will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday in Blackwater Cemetery.
Mr. Manuel was born on Nov. 9, 1930, in Sacaton and was a son of Warren and Ellen Manuel. He did restaurant work and was a hard worker. He overcame much but remained strong. He loved his family and especially being with his grandchildren. Friends of his family looked up to him as a grandfatherly figure.
Survivors include three daughters, Kamela Webb and Kimberly Bernard of Prescott Valley and Karen Allen of Mesa; a son, Kevin Manuel of Prescott Valley; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose.
