Barbara A. Jackson

BLACKWATER - Barbara A. Jackson, 81, died on April 27, 2019, after a lengthy illness.

Ms. Jackson worked for the Gila River Indian Community for several years in various jobs and participated in many community activities.

Her favorite hobbies were reading, playing bingo with her peers and taking trips to the casino.

She is survived by four daughters, Robyn Murphy, Ginger Robinson and Dianna Warwick, all of Blackwater, and Pennie Warwick of Casa Grande; five sisters and two brothers of Phoenix; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, a daughter, three sons and a grandson.

Service was on May 4 in West Blackwater Cemetery, with Pastor Aaron Johns officiating.
