Barbara L. Burke

Barbara L. Burke passed away April 1, 2014 at her home in Casa Grande, AZ. All of her children and her cherished friend and companion, George Kinner, were by her side. She was a loving Mother, devoted to her family. She lived in Tucson, Phoenix and Prescott Valley before moving to Casa Grande. She loved to play cards. She loved the outdoors, was an avid walker and member of Walk-About Arizona. She performed in a ladies' dance group in Prescott Valley for many years.

She is survived by her children, Robert Burke Jr. (wife Mary Ann) of Mesa, Rebecca Wills (spouse Douglas), Kati Perry (spouse Jim) of Tucson, Mark Burke (wife Mary) of Tucson, Jim Burke (wife Barbara) of Phoenix, Michael Burke (wife Susan) of Phoenix, Paul Burke (wife Penny) of Phoenix and Margaret Bobbitt (spouse Steve) of Phoenix. She has 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Her two sisters, Betty Hallen of Scottsdale and Shirley Miller of Mesa; her brother, Herb Miller of Lombard, Ill. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Burke, Sr. and daughter, Teresa King.

A Celebration of Life will be held at J. WARREN FUNERAL SERVICES the Garden Chapel, 525 N. Peart Rd., Casa Grande, AZ. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Seeds of Hope in Casa Grande or any Ronald McDonald House.
