Barney Bailey Enos Sr

SANTAN - Barney Bailey Enos Sr., 69, died on Dec. 18, 2018.

Mr. Enos was born on July 26, 1949, to Herbert R. Enos Sr. and Bernice Nathan. A combat veteran of the Vietnam War, he lived by his Marine Corps values. He worked for the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs for 35 years.

He loved all animals and enjoyed making leather crafts. Known as a "true old cowboy," he had many friends. His passion was riding his motorcycle, which he enjoyed until his last day.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Bernice L.; three daughters and a son, Maria and Nancy L. Enos, Barney B. Enos Jr. and Sarah Conde; five siblings, Hanson Enos, Josephine Silversmith, Delores Enos, Rebecca Johnson and Amelia Enos; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.

Visitation beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21, at the family home in Upper Santan. Graveside service at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, in Upper Santan Cemetery.
