Beatriz "Chula" Jimenez, 91, of Casa Grande died on June 14, 2012, at home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church by the Rev. Felix Rodriguez.
Mrs. Jimenez was born on July 29, 1920, in Mexico and was a daughter of Jose Jimenez and Josepha Zepulved-Jimenez. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Anthony's Church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, singing, dancing and watching her novelas.
Survivors include four daughters, Olivia Taylor of Casa Grande, Martha Garcia of Corona, Calif., Carmen Vargas of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, and Patricia "Patty" Garcia of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico; four sons, Pedro Vargas of Guadalajara, Alberto Vargas of San Diego, Rodolfo Vargas of Guadalajara and Nacho Vargas of Tijuana; 92 grandchildren; and 135 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alberto.
