TUCSON — Belinda Sue Sermeno, 55, of Tucson died on Feb. 16, 2010 at Hospice Family Care.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Adair’s Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. The funeral there will be at 11 a.m. Monday, with Pastor Abel Galvan officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Road.
Mrs. Sermeno was born on Oct. 7, 1954 in McAllen, Texas. She was a food service manager. She also was a gardener with a green thumb. She enjoyed shopping and cooking for her family and was generous to those in need. Christmas was her biggest holiday and she always had a gift for anyone who came. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed getting them together.
Survivors include three daughters, Elisa Lason and Sara Coffey of Tucson and Laura Sutherland of Virginia; a son, Marco Sermeno of Casa Grande; her parents, Abel and Mary Galvan of El Paso, Texas; two brothers, Michael Galvan of Lubbock, Texas, and Daniel Galvan of Tucson; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan V.
J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel was in charge of local arrangements.
