Bennie Yazzie

Bennie “Ben” Yazzie, 62, of Blackwater, died May 13, 2023, in Mesa. He was born September 23, 1960, in Los Angeles, California to Jonny N. Sr. and Annie E. Yazzie. Ben enjoyed arts and crafts, especially wood burning. He was a man of faith and liked to speak to people about God. He loved playing worshiping songs on his guitar.

Survivors include, his wife, Theresa, his children, Sabrina Davis, Angela Johnson, Ashley Yazzie, Amber Yazzie and Angela Rama, his siblings, Jonny Yazzie Jr., Ronnie Yazzie, Vennie Yazzie, Jennie Mae Yazzie and 3 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Danny Yazzie.

Services will begin Saturday, May 20th at 8am, at District 3 Service Center in Sacaton with graveside services to follow at Sacaton East Cemetery.
