Bercco Ray Thompson Sr.

CASA BLANCA - Bercco Ray Thompson Sr., 58, died on Dec. 19, 2018.

Mr. Thompson was born on July 17, 1960, in Sacaton to Bertha A. Thompson. He loved spending time with his family and cherished every moment with his girls and grandkids. He enjoyed dancing to his favorite chicken scratch and oldies music.

He was very friendly and got along with everybody. He was a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and rodeo was his hobby. He enjoyed riding his horse, Apple, every day.

Survivors include his wife of seven years, Arlene J.; six adult children, Bercco Jr., Marco and Blue Sky, all of Ak-Chin, Morning of Casa Blanca, TaTum of Sacaton and RainCloud Thompson of Sacaton; a stepdaughter, Josefa Lewis of Ak-Chin; Crystal Acosta of Nevada and Isaiah Rodriguez of Coolidge; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Wake beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, at the District 5 Service Center. Funeral at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, at West Casa Blanca Worshiping Center. Burial in Vah-Ki Cemetery.
