Berdina Lyons

Berdina Melva Lyons, 68, of Bapchule died May 26, 2022, in Chandler, Arizona. Berdina was born October 12, 1953, to Listine Santos and George Lyons Sr., in Sacaton, Arizona. She was a warm, kind, and compassionate friend to all that knew her. She loved listening to her gospel CD’s while doing her word search books. If not on the phone calling family and friends, just to check on them, she’d be watching her favorite tv shows, CSI, Law & Order or Criminal Minds. Berdina took great pride in raising her granddaughter, Ebony.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Ebony Fabela, two goddaughters, Shining Star and Morning Star Lewis all of Casa Blanca, AZ, 3 sisters, Elvina Lewis, Wanda Pablo of Casa Blanca, Carmen Marrietta of Sacaton and a brother Gordon Santos Sr., of Casa Blanca.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Listine Santos and George Lyons Sr., a daughter Sonya Lyons, sisters Elaine Antone, Patricia Rivers, Consuella Jackson, Jonella Santos and Lavina Mendoza, brothers Kerwin Narcia, George Lyons Jr., and Clement Santos Jr.

A wake service will be held June 11th from 6pm to 10pm at 3584 W. Casa Blanca Rd., District 5 Casa Blanca, burial the next morning at 6am at Vah Ki Cemetery.
