CASA BLANCA — Bernadette Jackson, 65, died on Dec. 23, 2012, at Caring House in Sacaton.
The graveside service will be at 8 a.m. Monday in Snaketown Cemetery, with the Rev. Aaron Johns officiating.
Ms. Jackson was born on Nov. 2, 1947, in Casa Blanca and was a daughter of Victor Williams and Muriel Lyons. She was an accountant and worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs for more than 20 years. She liked to read, listen to oldies and chicken scratch music and help people. She loved Betty Boop figures and lived her life to the fullest.
Survivors include two daughters, Marlo Lewis and Lora Mosley of Sacaton; three sons, Ronald Antone of Ogden, Utah, Kerwin Antone and Verton Jackson Jr. of Casa Blanca; five sisters, Elvira Santos, Darlene Jackson, Deborah and Arlene Lyons, all of Casa Blanca, and Pamela Lyons of Eureka, Nev.; a brother, Bennett Lyons of Casa Blanca; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Albert, Leonard and Tony Lyons, Wendell and Robert Williams.
