Bernardo C. Teran of Maricopa, AZ, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2023, at the age of 80. He was born on February 13, 1943 in Esqueda, Sonora, Mexico.
Bernardo is survived by his wife, Maria A. Teran of 53 years; five children, Bernardo, Ana (Julio), Reyes, Sonia and Sandra (Jesus). Bernardo had five grandchildren, Lorenzo, Emiliano, Diego, Lilian and Thomas.
Bernardo enjoyed trips to the casinos, braiding western nylon ropes, reading the newspaper and going to the livestock auction. He enjoyed making friends everywhere he went and eagerly waved at any vehicle or passerby when driving down roads.
Bernardo was known to be creative and comedic and awarded many endearing nicknames for his family and friends. Bernardo enjoyed raising cattle and doctoring them back to health. He worked at various feedlots in Arizona for most of his adult life including Arlington Cattle Co, Red River Feedlot and Maricopa Feedyards as a feedlot cowboy.
Spending time with family and friends was a great joy for him. We will treasure the memories and miss him deeply.
