Bernice C. Dodson

1929-2007


Bernice C. Dodson, born Bronislawa Slusarski in 1929 in Chicago, died July 22, 2007 at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix. Bernice, her husband and youngest son recently moved to Casa Grande after living 35 years in Tucson.
Bernice is survived by her husband of 56 years Robert J. Dodson Sr.; two daughters: Sharon Secrest (David) of Kansas and Susan Olson (Mark) of Wyoming; two sons: Robert J. Dodson Jr. (Linda) of Casa Grande and Richard L. Dodson of Casa Grande; and only surviving older brother Stanley Slusarski of Chicago. Surviving grandchildren are Mark, Sean, John, Melissa, Kayla and Megan.
She also leaves behind 37 nieces and nephews.
Bernice was a loving, dedicated wife and mother. She was also a source of comfort and a confidant for her entire extended family. Bernice will be profoundly missed, as the loving and caring woman she was, by all who knew her.
