BAPCHULE — Bernice Kyyitan Brown, 75, died on March 13, 2010 at Gilbert Mercy Medical Center.
The wake will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday at Billy Farris Memorial Hall. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church by the Rev. Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown was born on Aug. 21, 1934 in Sacaton and was a daughter of George R. and Nora L. Kyyitan. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Emery B. Sr.; six daughters, Janet Kyyitan, Carolyn Brown, Jacquelin Brown and Annette Santos, all of Bapchule, Glendora Melton and Cornelia Brown of Laveen; four sons, Raymond Kyyitan Sr., Harlen Santos, Aaron and Emery Brown Jr., all of Bapchule; a sister, Angelita White of Bapchule; six brothers, Edmund, Flores M. and Lucious Kyyitan, all of Bapchule, Ronald Mack of Lehi, Gerald Kyyitan of Chandler and Delmar Kyyitan of Phoenix; 54 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Randall and Irenius Brown.
